Ebay can be your best friend when your looking for on-trend pieces to update your wardrobe, so I decided to do a little guide for you guys that are a little Ebay shy!

A lot of the Ebay shops sell wholesale items which usually means they have many sizes of the same thing and there is no need to bid- hooray! The best way to find these items is by selecting the ‘Size not specified’ and ‘Buy it Now’ options in the filters. Also if you see something you like by one particular seller it always pays to check out all their stock on their Ebay shop as there is usually discounted postage for more than one item. You may also find that the international sellers will have free postage anyway, however it does take around 12-24 days for the item to reach you but its worth it for the low price you will have paid.

Now I have done some of the hard work for you and have scoured Ebay to find some key pieces for this summer. All the links are below. I may be doing a jewellery specific Ebay guide soon as there were too many lovely items to select just one so keep your eyes peeled!

1.Aztec Scarf  2.Gold Collar Tips 3.Bird Print Dress 4.Floral Platforms  5.Swirl Sunglasses 6.Floral Print Trousers 7.Blue Maxi SkirtBlack Zipped Handbag 9.High Waisted Denim Shorts

I am so excited to be escaping to Dubai on Monday I thought I would get everyone in the holiday spirit and ready for some sunshine whether its here (fingers crossed) or abroad. I have compiled a little guide to bikini buying. When I buy a bikini for myself I tend to go for a halter spaghetti strap which can detach, something that provides a little more padding up top and a balconette style. I would advise you to spend a little more if you want them to last a couple of years. A company which I have not featured below but would highly recommend is Insight, they can be found as a concession at Urban Outfitters and on Asos.

A style I would not recommend is the triangle bikini for many reasons…they are un-supportive, give the worst tan-lines and quite frankly are very risky when being thrown in pools! Ban them all!! Anyway I think I have provided some good alternatives below for all shapes and sizes!

All the links can be found below.

I cannot tell you enough how easy this is! There are endless designs to try and the even better news is it wont break the bank. It’s a great way to add interest to an outfit especially if you have to dress conservatively for work. Below are few ideas and products that are around at the moment including nail transfers, gems & pens. I have also selected a few videos of how to do some of the designs.

1. SuperDrug 2. Miss Selfridge 3. Miss Selfridge 4. TOPSHOP 5. TOPSHOP 6.Nail Rock

This is the video I used to learn how to do the Leopard Nails I posted about a while ago here.

This is a good one for the galaxy nail trend thats around at the moment (You may want to turn the sound off you’ll see why…)

Finally a really simple one is the polkadot part of this tutorial but if you feel confident enough try the bows too. Try using a liquid eyeliner for the black like in the above tutorial its much easier to rub off if you make a mistake.

I was showed this amazing little H&M collection today by my lovely friend at work. I love pretty much everything just wish I had a red carpet event to go to! It’s made from greener more eco friendly materials and the prices are extremely reasonable for the more wearable pieces. I have my eye on the gorgeous lime green dress that’s pictured below- not sure I’m that brave we will have to see what my bank balance says…. To shop the collection visit the H&M website here.

Once again I have failed to live up to my regular posts promise but I have a good reason as I now have a new job! As of the April 23rd I will be a photo retoucher for a company called Red Creative. They are design agency, based in Moreton on the Marsh, who specialise in the retail sector they with clients such as Liverpool FC, M&S, Apricot and George Davi FG4 brand. I was so pleased to be offered the job after I completed a week of work experience at the company in February covering a variety of areas including styling, e-commerce videos, illustration, website concepts and photo retouching. I decided to sacrifice a week of my holiday to help push my career in the direction I would like it to go and it has paid off. If you fancy a nosey at there website here’s the link. So onwards and upwards!

I have some lovely posts coming up over the next few weeks or so keep your eyes peeled on my facebook/twitter page for updates. I also have recently added a subscribe to updates option on my page, just enter you email address in the box and then you can be notified by email every time I post. Thanks for the support!

On Saturday I was sold one of these sets by a lovely young man in the Cheltenham House of Fraser branch. He demonstrated the block nail file on my mum’s thumb. I couldn’t believe how shiny he made it in under 30 seconds! He then said that this would last up to two weeks. I was sold at this point but he went on to show us the file came with three other items in a set which included cuticle oil, hand lotion and a regular nail file. He was retailing them for £30.00 but he knocked it down to £25.00 each as we bought three sets. If you don’t wear nail varnish very often or even if you wear it too much this is a great set to keep your nails looking healthy in-between polishes. I would definitely recommend it, even though it is a little pricey for a nail set its defiantly worth it. Heres a link to the Gadi 21 site where you can purchase one of these sets.

And here is a picture of my nails after the treatment… (apologies for my hands, they aren’t very nice)
