Whether you love them or hate them, they are back. I’ve jumped on the bandwagon and bought a navy blue short pair from Ark which should be arriving this week! One of my favourite style icons Alexa Chung has had a bit of a dungaree fetish so this year and has been photographed in several different pairs. This is probably my favourite look here. Topshop and asos have some great options at the moment.Read More
This is a fairly unknown brand which is part of the H&M group. It focuses on design led pieces and quality basics. I was extremely impressed with the beautiful range of jewellery. I try to always look for pieces that look more expensive than they are and & other stories really delivers on this and is not too unreasonable price wise. The website is easy to navigate and they have a nice feature; when you click on an item, further down the page, other items in the store in the same ‘story’ are suggested. Stories could mean the same pattern, colour ways, trends or materials. I would definatley recommend here if your looking for something a bit out of the ordinary. They also have a store on Regent Street in London which I shall look forward to visiting when im down next.Read More
I discovered this amazing little Aladdin’s cave a couple of weekends ago and could not believe it was right on my doorstep! They sell beautiful second hand furniture that has been revived with a rub down and coat of paint. They also have two trailers full of items in their original state to do what you like with, as they also supply the chalk paint to do it yourself if you wish.
Bringsty Vintage Living is based on Bringsty common on the A44 out towards bromyard, if your local to the Worcestershire area I would really recommend going to have a nosey! Heres their website and a link to their facebook page.

I’m having my room re-decorated this week and I’m hoping give it a little refresh so it looks less like a 16 year old’s bedroom. I have spent the last week or so pulling together some colour palettes, fabrics and furnishings that I’d like to fill it with. Heres my little moodboard… I will post picture when its all done!
These trends have already started filtering on to the high-street so go grab yourself some key pieces to see you through till summer!

Ebay can be your best friend when your looking for on-trend pieces to update your wardrobe, so I decided to do a little guide for you guys that are a little Ebay shy!
A lot of the Ebay shops sell wholesale items which usually means they have many sizes of the same thing and there is no need to bid- hooray! The best way to find these items is by selecting the ‘Size not specified’ and ‘Buy it Now’ options in the filters. Also if you see something you like by one particular seller it always pays to check out all their stock on their Ebay shop as there is usually discounted postage for more than one item. You may also find that the international sellers will have free postage anyway, however it does take around 12-24 days for the item to reach you but its worth it for the low price you will have paid.
Now I have done some of the hard work for you and have scoured Ebay to find some key pieces for this summer. All the links are below. I may be doing a jewellery specific Ebay guide soon as there were too many lovely items to select just one so keep your eyes peeled!Read More
I am so excited to be escaping to Dubai on Monday I thought I would get everyone in the holiday spirit and ready for some sunshine whether its here (fingers crossed) or abroad. I have compiled a little guide to bikini buying. When I buy a bikini for myself I tend to go for a halter spaghetti strap which can detach, something that provides a little more padding up top and a balconette style. I would advise you to spend a little more if you want them to last a couple of years. A company which I have not featured below but would highly recommend is Insight, they can be found as a concession at Urban Outfitters and on Asos.
A style I would not recommend is the triangle bikini for many reasons…they are un-supportive, give the worst tan-lines and quite frankly are very risky when being thrown in pools! Ban them all!! Anyway I think I have provided some good alternatives below for all shapes and sizes!
