I am very lucky to have been given the opportunity to visit Texworld in Paris with work next month with my sales managers and fellow merchandiser Jo. I am extremely excited to visit Paris again, after a rather cold trip back in February 2009 with University. It will be really good to experience the show from a buyer’s perspective, rather than a students! I will also have to somehow survive 3 days with just  one carry-on luggage! Uh Oh..capacity limits may be breached! Some seriously clever outfit planning will need to be done! I shall be doing a follow up report from the show near the end of September so look out for that…

I also am leaving for Thailand next Wednesday for a two week holiday in paradise (Hooray!!). I cannot wait to see what it is like out there, I don’ think it will seem real till I am actually there. As you may have been aware I have been experiencing some issues with my store, (technical hitch isn’t the word!) I can assure you I will be trying again to resolve the problems one way or another as soon as I return in September. Hopefully the store will be complete with some goodies that I’ve managed to discover at the floating markets in Thailand!
