Just wanted to share this amazing AW12 collection from Rodarte. To be honest I havent seen much of what they have done in previous seasons but this collection really caught my eye when I saw it on From Me to You Blog. I love the rich earthy colours, tribal prints which set to be big throughout this year and the gorgeous Star hair clip. I really hope a version of this little accessory filters down onto the high street for an affordable price!

This season, the statement necklace to be seen in is a metal collar. Below I’ve picked some of my favourites from the high-street; no matter how tight your budget is. (January is horrible isn’t it ? 5 weeks long!!) I was inspired by style blogger Morven Watson who is pictured below (really recommend her blog by the way check it out here! Her outfits are right up my street). I would suggest to wear your collar with a dress or outfit that is as simple as the necklace for effortless elegance. All the details and links to where you can purchase the necklaces from are below.

Apologies for the very delayed reports for fall 2011; last week was hectic at work. More reports will be along soon. Looking at the Menswear shows from fashion week. Below are the main points to take away:

1. Colour Pop- Seen throughout the AW11 womenswear collections aswel, colour promises to be a key feature this winter. It will be interesting to see how this pulls through into the high-street stores!

L-R: Jill Sander, Alexander Mc Queen, Paul Smith, D&G, Raf Simons, Burberry Prorsum, Bottega Veneta.

2.Back to Black- Unsurprisingly this colour was present in a lot of collections for AW11, this classic colour will always feature heavily in designers collections. Take a look at these head-to-toe black ensembles.

L-R: Bottega Veneta, Dior, Micheal Kors, Prada, YSL.

3.Wide Leg- We may not have seen the last of the skinny trousers just yet but you’ll need to start broadening your horizons to this new silhouette. The cut of the trouser, no matter who’s runway they were walking down, were all executed superbly giving great movement.

L-R: Dior, Dres Van Noten, Alexander Mc Queen, Juun J, Dior.

4 New Heritage- This was the return of the quintessential tweeds, tartans, hiking boots and quilted jackets of the UK. Through more contemporary cuts and styling it gave these rugged traditional fabrics a new lease of life.

L-R: Thom Brown, Alexis Mabille, John Galliano, Rag and Bone, Alexis Mabille, Moncler Gamme Bleu.
